Place a Cave Crystal 1 block above where the corundum will grow. It must be within 5 blocks of the basalt.

Many new players ask: "Can I grow Quark Corundum?"

The short answer is no. You cannot plant it in a Garden Plot. You cannot put it in an Incubator. Unlike Pogo Fruits or Cuberries, Quark Corundum is a geode node. However, you can farm it infinitely by understanding resource respawn timers and node displacement.

Unlike standard Minecraft ores (like Coal or Iron), Quark uses a "Realism" ore generation system. Corundum does not spawn in single blocks scattered everywhere. Instead, it spawns in rare, massive clusters.

Farming Quark Corundum is a marathon, not a sprint. You need a team built for speed and survival, because wasting 10 minutes on a single run destroys your efficiency.
