The System Is Busy. Please Wait For Asus Framework Service May 2026

Armoury Crate and MyASUS receive frequent updates. If an update is interrupted (power loss, forced shutdown), the Framework Service can become unstable.

If you cannot interact with the screen:

An outdated EC driver is a leading cause of communication timeouts with the Framework Service. The System Is Busy. Please Wait For Asus Framework Service

For laptops:

For desktops (ROG / TUF motherboards):

Windows gives services a default startup timeout of 30 seconds. If ASUS Framework Service needs longer (e.g., due to slow hardware or failing disk), forcing a longer timeout can help.

Select Decimal and set the value to 120000 (2 minutes) or 180000 (3 minutes).

Click OK, close Registry Editor, and restart.

This does not fix underlying corruption but prevents the "busy" message from timing out prematurely.
